In 2026, Dakar becomes the beating heart of world sport as host of the Youth Olympic Games. Ahead of it, ASPHA launches Agora Dakar 2026: not one more summit, but the crossroads of action — ministers, public health directors, athletes, researchers and start-ups co-author the health legacy of the YOG.

Why this event
Under the theme “Health through sport: building a prosperous Africa”, the Agora brings together governments, international organisations, the private sector, experts and young leaders for three days of concrete work.
Sessions are held at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Centre (CICAD), complemented by demonstrations at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium — just as Dakar prepares to host the Youth Olympic Games.
